Please take the time to read through this information carefully.
Please note that by making an appointment booking with Miles and Green you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Notice. You also agree to attend the appointment you have booked.
You can make an appointment with Miles and Green in a number of ways including via our website, telephone, text or email. Appointments are available for a variety of durations from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details, along with an email and text reminder 2 days prior to your appointment.
New clients booking a Sports Massage and/or Injury treatment at Miles and Green are required to book a consultation. This session will consist of a 15-20 minute consultation and 40-45 minutes of treatment. Your therapist will ask about your medical and injury history, outcome goals, sports or hobbies, occupation, and lifestyle.
Your therapist may assess your posture, joints, or injury. We pride ourselves on providing effective Massage treatments that are always tailored around your needs. The consultation gives us both a chance to ask or answer any questions that may arise and to decide on the best way to tailor your massage treatments. Follow up treatments may then last 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes depending on your requirements and our recommendations.
CANCELLATIONS/LATE ARRIVALS/ NO-SHOWS
Our goal is to provide quality individualised treatments in a timely manner. “No Shows” and late cancellations inconvenience those individuals who are in need of treatment. No shows and late cancellations will be chargeable at full treatment cost.
Charge for Late Cancellations, No Show’s and Late Arrivals
Failure to give a 24-hour advance cancellation or being a “No Show” will result in a non-refundable charge of the full treatment cost.
Cancellation of an Appointment
In order to be respectful of other patients, please call Miles and Green promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We require that you call 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give others the possibility to receive the treatments they require.
As a courtesy, we will send you a text reminder and email, 48 hours in advance to confirm your appointment. This is an automated system.
No Show Policy
A “No Show” is someone who is not present at the time of their scheduled appointment and has not provided adequate notification. We understand that emergencies may occur, however, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you are preventing another patient from getting their needed treatment.
Late Arrival Policy
Late arrival to a scheduled appointment will require that we end the session at the scheduled time, meaning your session will be shorter. Late arrival to appointments will result in a full treatment charge for the shorter session.
At Miles and Green we offer singular Workshops and weekly Courses which are usually between 5 and 7 weeks in length. Miles and Green is committed to the safe and effective teaching where the needs of the individual are taken into full consideration. It is our firm belief that this cannot be achieved in classes where the class student basis varies from week to week. To ensure progression (and not stagnation) students need to work at a level that suits their needs, aspirations and abilities.
Classes start on time so out of consideration for the instructor and other class members, please arrive five minutes before your class starts. The warm-up is an important aspect of each class and essential for your own safety.
Can I reserve a space?
Places in class cannot be reserved until payment is received. There is often a waiting list for places. Before the course ends you will be invited to re-enrol for the following course, however if your payment has not been received by the required date your place will be offered to the next person waiting to join.
How to Book and Pay
Once you have chosen the Workshop or Course that you would like to join, you can book online via our Book a Class . Once your booking has been logged you will receive a confirmation email. Payment is made via our online payment system when you book your place. All workshops and courses are booked with advance payment.
Unfortunately no refunds can be given for classes missed. Missed classes cannot be carried over to a future course or term or applied against private lessons.
If you cancel prior to 2 weeks in advance of the course start date and your place is able to be sold to someone else, you may receive a full refund. Unsold places and cancellations within 2 weeks of the course, as well as non-attendance on the day or any days within the course, are completely non-refundable. In certain circumstances, you may be able to transfer the payment to an alternative future workshop or course.
The Studio remains open throughout all school holidays. If there are Teacher’s holidays during a course, these days will be removed from the course and the price reduced. In the event that we have to cancel a class that you have booked, you will receive a full refund.
If it is your first visit to our studio a health questionnaire must be completed. Please arrive a few minutes early on your first visit to fill out. Please ensure you update your contact or medical details if they change.
These terms and conditions may be subject to change from time to time without notice.
