You can make an appointment with Miles and Green in a number of ways including via our website, telephone, text or email. Appointments are available for a variety of durations from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details, along with an email and text reminder 2 days prior to your appointment.


New clients booking a Sports Massage and/or Injury treatment at Miles and Green are required to book a consultation. This session will consist of a 15-20 minute consultation and 40-45 minutes of treatment. Your therapist will ask about your medical and injury history, outcome goals, sports or hobbies, occupation, and lifestyle.

Your therapist may assess your posture, joints, or injury. We pride ourselves on providing effective Massage treatments that are always tailored around your needs. The consultation gives us both a chance to ask or answer any questions that may arise and to decide on the best way to tailor your massage treatments. Follow up treatments may then last 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes depending on your requirements and our recommendations.


Our goal is to provide quality individualised treatments in a timely manner. “No Shows” and late cancellations inconvenience those individuals who are in need of treatment. No shows and late cancellations (failure to give 24 hours notice) will be chargeable at full treatment cost.

Cancellation of an Appointment

In order to be respectful of other patients, please call Miles and Green promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We require that you call 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give others the possibility to receive the treatments they require.
As a courtesy, we will send you a text reminder and email, 48 hours in advance to confirm your appointment. This is an automated system. 

No Show Policy

A “No Show” is someone who is not present at the time of their scheduled appointment and has not provided adequate notification. We understand that emergencies may occur, however, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you are preventing another patient from getting their needed treatment.

Late Arrival Policy

Late arrival to a scheduled appointment will require that we end the session at the scheduled time, meaning your session will be shorter. Late arrival to appointments will result in a full treatment charge for the shorter session.


  • Each have a unique code printed on them. This code must be presented to redeem voucher.
  • Vouchers presented after their expiry date will not be accepted.
  • Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  • Any additional costs exceeding the value of the voucher will be paid by the redeemer.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of gift vouchers. 
  • Gift vouchers are not replaceable if lost, damaged or stolen.



All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by Miles and Green and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.

Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
Each practitioner working for Miles and Green will have access to these records only for the duration of their contract with Miles and Green, and solely for the purpose of providing you with the most appropriate treatment.

All practitioners at Miles and Green are qualified, hold a current First Aid certificate, and hold professional and public indemnity insurance, for the services that they provide.

Due to the nature of massage and the need for close contact, all Miles and Green practitioners will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.

If a practitioner is unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, they will not be allowed to work due to the risks of cross contamination. This may result in Miles and Green contacting you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.

Clients are asked not to attend for a massage if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health. Please contact Miles and Green via email at karen@milesandgreen.co.uk at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness, please note that our Cancellation Policy may still apply.

Miles and Green, including the practitioners, will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during your time at the Miles and Green premises.

Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed massage plan to be performed, and will be requested to co-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be invited to stay in the room for the duration of the appointment, and expected to remain present throughout the treatment.

Miles and Green holds the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards any practitioner, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour. Such behaviour may result in a partial or total ban from Miles and Green, and may also result in criminal proceedings.


Miles and Green provide massage therapy and bodywork in a variety of forms, but none of these bodywork modalities are a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. None of the practitioners at Miles and Green will diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatment of any kind, unless they are personally qualified to do so, and will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.

The client has a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of their knowledge, and to keep Miles and Green up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments they are having investigated or undergoing treatment for.

All practitioners at Miles and Green may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Miles and Green reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Likewise, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.
